What's New in Windows 11?
Microsoft launched Windows 11 for the Surface devices on the day it was released, and it's expected to arrive on more PCs in the future. The update will be available through Windows Update on new devices, but it will be phased in and is not guaranteed to arrive on all computers. Windows 11 is also set to bring Android apps to the Microsoft Store, with the first official release date of 2022. Here's a look at some of the new features.
OneDrive - This is Microsoft's answer to Dropbox and iCloud. Once installed, Windows 11 will encourage you to turn OneDrive on, and offers up to 5GB of free cloud storage. Once you install OneDrive, it will automatically sync your files to a folder in the OneDrive folder on your hard drive. This makes it much easier to keep track of important files while you're away from your PC. Microsoft News is an optional feature, but it will customize the experience for your personal tastes.
System Requirements - Windows 11 may require specific hardware. If your device doesn't meet the system requirements, it won't be able to install Windows 11. If your device does not have these minimum specifications, it will display a watermark on your desktop and you'll have to reinstall the operating system. However, this won't stop most applications from working on your system. It's worth noting that Windows 11 is only available for 10 days after installation.
